The mission of Aggie Gems is to promote leadership through service, personal development, and philanthropic activities while encouraging a strong sense of sisterhood within our organization.
Aggie Gems was founded on four pillars that our members strive to embody in everything that we do. Leadership, sisterhood, community involvement, and personal development are what we strive for as women of Texas A&M .
Founded in 2014, Aggie Gems is a women's leadership organization striving to serve Texas A&M University and the greater Bryan/College Station area in order to better our community through our four pillars.
As Aggie Gems, we aim to grow as leaders while serving our community and creating forever lasting friendships.
"I don't think I could really begin to describe how grateful I am for Gems. The opportunities I've been given throughout my time in this amazing women's org have helped me grow in so many ways. Being an officer this past year was such a rewarding experience, and I am so eager for this upcoming year to serve as president. The friendships I have made in gems are so special to me, and I am so thankful for each of them. I have met girls who I know I'll be friends with for the rest of my life. Gems has enhanced my college experience 10 fold and I am so grateful.”
"I feel like I’m a completely different person since I’ve joined Gems. The women in this org have helped me become more confident in myself, open to new experiences, and helped better myself. Being a sisterhood cochair this past year was a struggle especially with balancing school, work, and life in general. But each struggle made me more and more resilient and taught me versatility. I can’t wait for another year of growth and to see what I can do for Gems and what it can do for me!"
"When I first got into Aggie Gems, I never knew just how much it would mean to me. It’s crazy that strangers can come into your life and make such a large impact.Aggie Gems has given me the opportunity to meet my best friends, my go-tos, my support system, and find so much love and happiness. These are the girls that have helped me through the struggles of college and adulthood, and always pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best way possible. These are the girls that will be next to me at the altar one day."
